OPPOSE THe Colorado

COMMERCIAL SEX BILL

Colorado lawmakers have introduced SB26-097, titled “Decriminalize Adult Commercial Sexual Activity.” Despite its name, the bill would legalize selling and buying sex, as well as brothels statewide.

Supporters say it would reduce violence, but evidence from places with full decriminalization shows that increased demand can fuel trafficking and exploitation. Those working directly with women in prostitution say what’s most needed isn’t better conditions—it’s a pathway out.

Colorado should strengthen protections, not remove them. If you care about protecting women, children, and vulnerable communities, contact your State Senator and urge them to oppose SB26-097.
