Squad Wars

An epic competition where you compete against other teams to win the ultimate prize - the Squad Wars Trophy!

We compete in incredible games planned for this summer, and we encourage students to bring all the team spirit they can- paint their face, bring team color clothes, bring costumes…just bring all the hype and energy for your squad each day!

Squad team colors will be assigned closer to our departure date. Please note that assigned colors have no bearing on small groups or housing designations while at camp.

***All students attending camp need to have a waiver filled out to participate. Please fill out one waiver per student who is registered for camp. Your student will not be able to get on the bus until we have a waiver completed. Fill out the waiver below ***

FAQ

How old do you need to be to attend camp?

Our middle school camp is for students currently enrolled in 6th-8th grades. Current 5th graders who will be entering 6th grade in the fall of 2025 are also welcome to attend our camp.

How does housing work? Room assignments, roommate request?

All students are assigned their own bed while at camp. Students are assigned to rooms based on their grade and biological gender; we try our best to keep same grade level students in the same rooms and cabins. We also aim to keep the students with their small groups within the same rooms and cabins. The room sizes hold 3-5 students in each room. Chaperones or small group leaders are assigned different rooms on the same floors of their small group students.

For roommate requests, families can request other students as roommates when registering, although we cannot guarantee them, but we always do our absolute best to accommodate those requests, especially if the student is new to our youth group.

Who runs this camp? Are they background-checked?

Chaperones are staff of Flatirons Church or our current youth small group leaders, all of which have done training with our staff. All staff and small group leaders are required to have multi-point background checks.

Where do I drop my student off/pick them up?

Your student will need to be dropped off at the campus location that was selected upon registering your student for camp. If you need to change this location or are unsure what you selected, please email us at   to confirm.

What if I need to change something on my registration?

If you need to change any information on your registration, please email us at  .

What if I need to cancel my registration?

If registration needs to be canceled, your $100 deposit will not be refunded.

We’ve been waitlisted-what does that mean?

This means that as of now, our camp capacity is full. Throughout the registration process, students cancel and drop out so there is still a possibility for your student(s) to attend camp.

As soon as your child is removed from the waitlist, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address that was listed on the registration. That email will contain a link for payment, which will need to be paid in full by July 15th.

How do I set up a payment plan?

Upon registering, a confirmation email will be sent to the address listed for the registrant email during registration. The confirmation email will contain a link that states, “To schedule additional payments for this registration, click here.” Follow that link, and you will be instructed on how to set up a payment plan.

How do I make additional payments? Check my balance?

You can make additional payments and check your balance by logging into your my.flatironschurch.com account. If there is a remaining balance, the camp registration will appear on the right-hand side of your account. You can click on the Summer Camp 2025 link to check your balance and/or make additional payments.

I need financial assistance; how do I apply for a scholarship? How do I know if I received a scholarship?

You can apply for a scholarship HERE. Scholarships are given out on a case-by-case basis. We do require a $100 deposit to receive a scholarship. Please register your student first, then apply for a scholarship. We will notify you by email if you have received a scholarship. We will apply the discount once your student has been registered. You will hear back within a week of submission if you have been awarded a scholarship.

How much does the scholarship cover?

Scholarships vary by student and situation.

When I apply for a scholarship does that register me for camp?

No. If you are worried about not getting a spot for your student you can register and pay $100 to save their spot.

When is the final balance due?

Final payments are due July 15 (No exceptions). Students must have camp payment(s) completed before getting on the bus.

How can I help with camp?

There are several ways to help with camp. You can help donate to our scholarship fund HERE to help other students experience camp. You can contact us HERE to be a small group leader volunteer. There are also various odd jobs and assignments that we will need throughout the prep time and week of camp. If you are interested in helping in any way, you can email us at  .
