Trip name: Musana Vocational Trip
Trip dates: Thursday, September 19 – Monday, September 30
Cost: $3,250
Location: Iganga, Uganda
Trip leaders: Chris Kelley and Mike Hart
WHO: Those with skilled backgrounds in electrical, plumbing, welding, construction, mechanical professions, as well as skilled tailors, seamstresses, jewelry artisans, and hair stylists, all with the ability to instruct, are encouraged to apply. All participants should come with a curiosity to learn about who Musana is and how they partner with local communities, feel strongly about encouraging the role local community leaders play, have a willingness to be led by field staff, a heart to teach but also to learn, and have a passion to discover how a cross-cultural experience might impact their vocational practice at home. Above all else, participants should have a strong desire to exemplify Jesus in all they do.
