Student Series - We Are Flatirons Students
Bump Into Jesus - Week 4
February 6, 2022 | By Student Ministry
Using our spiritual gifts, talents, abilities, resources, passions, and creativity, we believe that it is our role and responsibility to create excellent environments and eliminate any and all obstacles so that people have the best opportunity to encounter (bump into) Jesus so that He can do what only He can do. (Colossians 3:17)
Group Overview:
This week Michael unpacks the value of excellent environments and encourages the students to play a part in creating such a place at Flatirons Students. Use your group time to connect with your students and learn what gifts they have to impact others at your campus.
Announcements:
Camp Registration opens today! It will sell out, so make sure you talk with your parents about going to camp as soon as you see them today!
Ice Breaker:
What is the coolest environment you have ever been in? (Concert, Sporting event, thrift store)
Discussion Questions:
- What are you really good at?
- Tell us about a time when you were able to use something you were good at to help someone.
- We all have different gifts from God. See Romans 12:6-8. What do you think yours are?
- What could you do to use your gifts at Flatirons Students?
Prayer:
When you pray with your students make sure you thank God for the gifts that He has given each of them and ask for encouragement to use those gifts for God’s glory.
